A cornerstone of all software published under this developer umbrella is an unwavering Privacy-First Architecture: software must empower the user locally on their device, without surveilling, capturing, or monetizing personal data.

Within this developer suite, EcomVidGen Video Uploader Suite (Version 1.0.0) is a dedicated client-side Google Chrome extension designed for content creators, marketers, and automated publishing workflows.

Single Purpose Statement:
The sole purpose of EcomVidGen Video Uploader Suite is to automate the sequential, user-authorized publishing of short-form vertical videos and associated metadata (titles, captions, hashtags) directly across five major social platforms — Facebook Reels, Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Threads — utilizing the user's active, pre-authenticated Google Chrome browser tabs.

3. Zero Data Collection & User Sovereignty

In accordance with our core engineering principles and the Google Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies, our browser extensions maintain strict data isolation:

  • No User Data Collected or Transmitted: We do not collect, harvest, store, transmit, or sell personal identifiers, names, phone numbers, contact lists, or account credentials.
  • No Credential Interception: The extension never asks for, reads, stores, or transmits account passwords or authentication tokens. All publishing happens strictly within browser sessions where the user is already voluntarily logged in.
  • No Browsing History Tracking: We do not monitor, record, analyze, or inspect web pages visited, search queries, or general browsing behavior outside of the specific platform upload pages triggered by the user.
  • Local File Handling Only: Videos, covers, and descriptions selected for upload remain strictly on your local machine and are sent directly to the official platform servers (Meta, Google, ByteDance) via standard browser form submissions. No media or metadata is routed through any third-party or developer-owned proxy servers.
  • Zero External Analytics & Telemetry: No tracking libraries, analytics scripts (such as Google Analytics or Mixpanel), advertising pixels, or telemetry beacons are embedded in the extension.

4. Permission Justifications (Manifest V3)

Every permission requested by the extension is strictly scoped to its single purpose under Manifest V3:

  • storage: Used strictly to save local configuration (such as publishing interval delays and toggle preferences) on the user's machine via chrome.storage.local. No configuration data is synchronized externally.
  • activeTab: Grants temporary access to interact with the active social media upload tab upon user action to locate upload inputs and submit content.
  • scripting: Executes client-side DOM helpers that populate upload fields, attach video files, and handle confirmation dialogs on supported creator portals.
  • alarms: Manages internal countdown timers locally between consecutive uploads to prevent browser stalls and adhere to platform rate-limiting standards.
  • offscreen: Processes local file validation and copy formatting in a background offscreen document without degrading browser UI responsiveness.
  • tabs: Navigates to designated creator upload pages and monitors progress indicators to ensure sequential publishing order.
  • host_permissions: Confined exclusively to the official creation and upload domains of the supported platforms:

6. Google Limited Use Policy Compliance

Our extension complies fully with the Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies, including the Limited Use requirements:

  • We do not transfer user data to third parties.
  • We do not use or transfer user data to serve personalized or targeted advertisements.
